We need your help! Year 1 Bake Sale – 10th Feb

This half of the term in year 1 we are learning all about animals as part of our ‘Fins, Fur or Feathers?’ topic.

As a finale to our topic work we are planning a Year 1 trip to London Zoo on Wednesday 25th February. It is a fantastic opportunity for the children to really cement their learning and see some of the amazing animals that we will have been learning about.  As well as looking around the zoo we will be taking part in an educational workshop and the following day we will be having a close up animal encounter at school.

Trips to London Zoo have a higher cost attached to them as we will need to hire coaches to take us there. To offset some of this cost we will be doing some fundraising as a year group.

We are planning to hold a bake sale on Tuesday 10^th February.

We are asking all of our amazing parents and carers in Year 1 to bake some delicious cakes and treats that we can then sell in the playground after school on the 10^th.

If you could help us to run the stall (either by setting up or by helping us to sell) please let your class teacher know.
