Division Challenge

We have already had an entry for the division challenge!

As you can see from the pictures she has used the coffee pods to correctly divide the numbers into equal groups of coffee pods and then counted how many groups there are in total. Great work!

Here she has divided 9 into groups of 3 and found that there are 3 groups of 3 coffee pods in the number 9.

So 9 divided by 3 equals 3!

Here she has divided 16 into groups of 4 and found that there are 4 groups of 4 coffee pods in the number 16.

So 16 divided by 4 equals 4!

Here she has divided 20 into groups of 5 and found that there are 4 groups of 5 coffee pods in the number 20.

So 20 divided by 5 equals 4!

Here she has divided 12 into groups of 2 and found that there are 6 groups of 2 coffee pods in the number 12.

So 12 divided by 2 equals 6!
